Director, HR Technology

Position Summary:
The Director of Workforce Technology provides operational and functional leadership for the organization’s workforce and HR technology ecosystem. Reporting to the Executive Director of Human Resources, this role is responsible for the design, implementation, administration, and execution of technology solutions that support workforce operations, compliance, and organizational effectiveness. The director collaborates with HR, IT, Finance, and operational leaders to ensure systems are efficient, integrated, and aligned with organizational needs, and provides input and insights that inform strategic workforce technology planning.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Demonstrate and promote the mission, vision, values, and behavioral standards of the organization.
Design, implement, administer, and execute workforce and HR technology solutions that enhance system functionality, streamline workflows, and support operational effectiveness.
Oversee the administration and daily operation of workforce and HR technology platforms, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and alignment with organizational standards.
Lead, mentor, and develop Workforce Technology team members, fostering a high‑performing, service‑oriented function with clear priorities and professional development pathways.
Establish and maintain data governance practices, including system audits, data validation, and quality controls to support regulatory and accreditation requirements.
Monitor updates, enhancements, and industry trends to ensure systems remain current and effectively utilized.
Evaluate workforce management and HR technology platforms and collaborate with HR, IT, Finance, and operational leaders to identify opportunities for improved efficiency, optimization, integration, or platform consolidation.
Produce and deliver analytics and reporting to support workforce planning, compliance, staffing, and operational decision‑making.
Provide input and operational insights that inform strategic workforce technology discussions and planning led by HR leadership.
Develop and maintain system documentation, governance standards, job aids, and procedures.
Provide guidance and training to HR, leaders, and operational managers on system functionality, reporting tools, and best practices.
Provide HR leadership during system upgrades, testing, and technology implementations in partnership with IT to ensure functional readiness and effective adoption.
Position Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience:
- 10+ years of progressive HRIS or workforce technology experience. Leadership experience required, preferably in a healthcare environment.
- Workday experience required.
Work Schedule: M-F, Days
