About the Job:
Supervises the Ultrasound Department. Facilitates within this modality the maintenance and development of Imaging programs, procedures, and evaluation systems. Supports and assists with marketing services, planning and development. Exercises independent professional and ethical judgment. Performs all duties in a manner that promotes teamwork and reflects the Mission, Philosophy and Code of Conduct of Elliot Health System.
What You’ll Do:
- Participates in planning, organizing and directing department activities
- Participates in the development of goals and objectives, and the establishment and implementation of department policies and procedures
- Keeps abreast of department performance and makes changes as needed to improve services provided
- Assures compliance with regulatory requirements as directed
- Works to ensure that the department meets budgeted census expectations, collects and analyzes marketing and referral data

Who You Are:
- Successful completion of accredited (CAAHEP) educational Sonography program recognized by the ARDMS.
- Individual must have experience in abdominal, obstetrical, and gynecological scanning, Required.
- Compliant with Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (MIRT) prior to hire, Required
- ARMDS Registered, Required
- Ability to obtain BLS during employment, Required
