Elliot Health System - Patient Service Representative Lead - Family Medicine Manchester - Full Time

Position Summary - Monday-Friday, 8am-5:00pm, 40 hours weekly
Under the direction of the Practice Manager, supervises effective delivery of front desk operations, registration and revenue cycle activity occurring under EHS Practice while working alongside the Patient Service Representatives. Participates with management in the development of department specific projects working towards continual workflow improvements. Supports the mission, vision, and values of Elliot Health System.
Key Responsibilities
- Assists Practice Manager in effective delivery of all functions around general office operations for the practice.
- Development of department specific project work towards continual workflow improvements and managing department growth
- Establishes PSR coverage schedules for Practice clerical team, triaging and staffing unexpected absences as needed
- Maintains various databases to include Microsoft Access and Excel based department files as assigned.
- Oversight of department medical records requests process
- Completion of monthly chart review audit
- Performs all duties of EHS PSR as needed.
- Maintains workload at the established productivity standard for assigned area.
- Interacts and communicates professionally with co-workers, management and patients.
Job Qualifications
- Education: Associates degree or equivalent required.
- Experience: Two to three years' experience in a health care setting performing similar work activities including, but not limited to clerical, billing or insurance processing required. Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Certification/Licensure: Software/Hardware: Proficiency in MS Office required. Experience with Epic EMR preferred.
